Transforming Lives Through Education: Our Work at PWA
At the Protection Welfare Association (PWA), we believe that every deserving child in our community has a fundamental right to quality education. Operating as a Foundation Assisted School (School Code: 170102002) in proud partnership with the Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh, our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing a safe, inspiring, and fully equipped learning environment for students in Ashfaq Colony and Gulshan-e-Sikandar Abad.
Our commitment to our students goes beyond the curriculum. We continuously invest in our facilities to ensure that financial hardship never dictates the quality of a child’s educational experience.
The 2025–2026 Campus Revitalization Project
A child’s environment profoundly impacts their ability to learn, dream, and grow. Recently, our school underwent a comprehensive renovation, transforming aging infrastructure into a modern, dignified campus. This massive undertaking ensures that our students and dedicated teachers have the resources they need to succeed.
A Foundation for Learning: Classrooms & Infrastructure
- Upgraded Student Furniture: We completely overhauled our classrooms, replacing broken, splintered wooden benches with sturdy, comfortable, and fully repaired student desks.
- Complete Structural Renovation: Our campus received extensive plastering and fresh coats of warm, welcoming paint across the exterior facades and interior corridors.
- Welcoming Entrances: The main school entrances were fully repaired, repainted, and fitted with updated, professional signage reflecting our partnership with the Sindh Education Foundation.
Nurturing Early Potential: The ECCE Rooms
- Vibrant Learning Spaces: We transformed our Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) rooms from sparse spaces with peeling paint into highly engaging, stimulating environments.
- Child-Centric Design: The new rooms are furnished with colorful, child-sized tables and chairs perfectly suited for our youngest learners.
- Educational Art: The walls are now adorned with bright, educational murals featuring alphabets, numbers, fruits, and shapes to foster visual learning and early cognitive development.
Health, Dignity, and Pride
- Safe Drinking Water: To protect the health and well-being of our students, we installed a brand-new, multi-stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system, ensuring access to safe, clean drinking water on campus.
- Empowering Educators: We completely remodeled the staff and AV rooms, upgrading from old, mismatched furniture to built-in wooden storage cabinets and comfortable, modern seating areas to give our teachers the dignified workspace they deserve.
- National Spirit: A new, dedicated flag-hosting pipe was installed on our rooftop, allowing the national flag to fly proudly over our renovated campus.
When you walk through the newly tiled corridors of PWA School, under the beautiful “Mashallah” calligraphy adorning our courtyard walls, you are looking at more than just a renovation. You are looking at a community’s commitment to giving its children the best possible start in life
